This webinar will explore some of the challenges that might emerge when foster/adoptive/kinship children and youth head back to school. We will identify signs of sensory overload, sensory seeking, and shutdown and share how to use trauma-informed strategies to build felt safety, reduce escalation, and strengthen connection. Finally, we will explore how to share these strategies with school staff to help children and youth start the school year strong.
