Sperry has a strong background in disability and mental health advocacy work. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Psychology from University of Maryland College Park. After gaining experience working in the field she went on to complete her coursework for a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling in 2025. She has a diverse background working in both mental health treatment spaces and nonprofit organizations.
Sperry is passionate about advocating for change in the mental health system and social services. She strives to reduce systemic barriers to quality care for those with disabilities. She is an active member of her community and serves as a board member at Catalyst Adaptive Sports, she is a CPT with a certification in movement for trauma, and a member of the outreach corp for Rock Recovery.
