Virginia Institute of Autism outpatient assessment clinic provides comprehensive evaluations and recommendations for the behavioral, educational, and intellectual needs of children up to age 16. Assessments may be conducted individually or part of a complete battery depending upon the needs of the child and the reason for referral. In addition, the clinic is able to provide diagnostic assessment for children as young as 2 years old who are suspected to have autism.
