The Ross Center in Northern Virginia has psychologists, psychiatrists and therapists and work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Clinicians work individually or with the entire family in developing the optimal treatment plan. With a variety of clinician specialists, they are able to provide a combination of approaches that can include testing and assessment, individual or family therapy, and psychiatric medication to provide the best possible outcome. The team includes child psychiatrists and child therapists who specialize in working with kids and patients are taught positive behaviors and coping skills, while clinicians offer suggestions for helpful parenting techniques to help deal with behavioral problems, anxiety and more. Clinicians work with adolescents and young adults to help them acquire skills in communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving so that they can experience less anxiety and a higher quality of life.
