The POTS Treatment Center offers patients collaborative, alternative care aimed at treating the whole person, not just the disorder. The treatment team consists of a psychophysiologist, an internal medicine doctor, clinical health psychologist, and a registered dietitian who work with you to provide compassionate care through a full range of services. The Center offers an accelerated treatment program where patients travel to the center in Dallas, Texas for eight days to attend the accelerated program. The program will start on a Monday ending the following Wednesday. Patients come in everyday (except weekends) for 3+ hours. After the patient completes the eight day accelerated program, she/he will receive a home program to maintain learned skills and techniques. During the time of home training, the patient's progress is monitored over phone and email. The goal of this program is to gain control of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and thereby directly addressing the pots/dysautonomia.
