Description:
The Camphill School is a residential school for children with special needs in kindergarten through grade twelve. The adapted Waldorf curriculum presents traditional scholastic subjects, both academically and experientially, stimulating young minds and nurturing healthy emotional development. And, as in every other Waldorf school, the curriculum allows children to work with their hands every day, encouraging practical, social, and artistic growth. The school also runs a transition program at Beaver Farm which teaches vocational skills to youth aged 18-21 in a farm setting.
