Tahirih Justice Center is a national non-profit that serves immigrant women and girls fleeing violence. Services include immigration law, family law, impact litigation, trafficking prevention, social services, and training and education. Tahirih provides free legal services in immigration law and family law to help client rebuild their lives in safety and with dignity in the wake of violence. They also provide impact litigation to support clients in recovering damages from harms they have suffered, such as trafficking. Tahirih also partners with law enforcement and advocates to address the human trafficking problem in Greater DC. Help clients meet basic needs including food, shelter, medical care, and employment services.
