Support Services of Virginia, Inc. (SSVA) provides Day services, residential services, and behavioral consultations. Their residential services include in-home, residential, and group home placements. Support Services of Virginia currently has five group home sites. There are no more than four individuals receiving services at each site. Each individual has their own private room. There are at least two bathrooms in each home, spacious backyards, and many modern updates. The Sponsored Residential Program (SR) provides full-time, 24 hour, support for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Some sponsored homes offer a close, family-like setting, while others offer more independent options, like a private apartment/mother -in-law type suite within the home. Each Sponsored home has its own unique character and SSVA carefully assesses to assure that the specific home chosen matches well with the individual's interests and needs. All SSVA SR homes are fully licensed.
