SIOV's mission is to eliminate stigma surrounding mental health and to create an environment of trust and support for people impacted by mental health issues through open dialogue, education, empowerment, and positive change. SIOV has content that resonates with people, Sources of Strength suicide prevention trainings, and events engaging with the community. The website has a blog, links to resources, peer leader training, adult advisor training, mini-trainings, 1 and 2 year consultations, speaking engagements, and event partnerships. SIOV also provides a $2,500 scholarship to a senior from pursuing higher education who has demonstrated the ability to impact mental wellness by spreading hope, help, and strength within their communities
