Smiles Change Lives provides access to life-changing orthodontic treatment for children from families that cannot afford the full cost of braces. They match qualified children, who need orthodontic treatment, with caring orthodontists willing to provide such treatment. To qualify for the program, youth must be 7-18 years of age; have good oral hygiene and no unfilled cavities; have a moderate to severe need for braces; not be wearing braces currently; family must meet financial guidelines (varies by geographic location); and be willing to pay a non-refundable $30 application fee and the non-refundable $650 require financial investment (per child).
