Simon Benn was adopted at 5 weeks old and told of the adoption at a very young age. At the age of 40, Simon learned his teddy bear was a gift from his birthmother; leaving him to experience very intense anger about being unloved. After a lot of work addressing his anger and worrying about his future, Simon found himself working in schools to empower children to follow their dreams, ignore bullies, and be happy. Simon now coaches adoptive and non-adoptive parents on improving their children's confidence and self-esteem using what he learned working with 1600 youngsters. He also coaches adoptees so they don't feel broken and wounded any more. Simon is based in North Yorkshire, United Kingdom; but works with families internationally through virtual connections.
