Project Horse Empowerment Center provides therapy services for individuals, families and groups. For those already seeing a therapist or psychiatrist, clinicians from Project Horse Empowerment Center will collaborate to meet treatment goals. Therapy is tailored to an individual's family's or couple's treatment goals, in coordination with a primary therapist. Programs include Wellness & Learning; Therapy & Mental Health, Warrior Herd Veterans & Military, and Community Outreach. Project Horse raises funds in order to offer a sliding scale and financial assistance to participants, whenever possible. Services are Pro bono for veterans and their families. Project Horse also attends a variety of community events with our Mobile Minis (miniature horses), such as parades and fairs; we educate the public about the power of equine assisted therapy and help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues; and we enable a variety of groups in the community to have convenient access to our equine assisted services.
