Community Service Early Intervention Programs provide services for families of infants and toddlers, birth through two years of age, who have a disability, developmental delay or are displaying atypical development. Early intervention services through the Infant Information Center (ICIC) include developmental screening; service coordination with other agencies and professionals; and coordination of eligibility for the Parent-Infant Education (PIE) Program. Services through the PIE Program include development of an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), to include an assessment for service planning, to determine the child's strengths and needs; Early Intervention Supports and Services provided in the home/community by licensed and certified Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists or Early Childhood Special Educators; and consultations with child care providers and other community resources. Services are available for all eligible children/families regardless of the family's ability to pay.
