PEATC works collaboratively with families, schools, and communities to develop, communicate, and disseminate state-of-the-art education, training, outreach, and support services for children (particularly children with disabilities), their families, and the professionals who serve them. The PEATC website offers a wealth of information about special education, parent involvement and advocacy, links to resources, and parent information resources. PEATC also has a Youth Empowerment Program (PYE) that helps youth gain knowledge to become empowered self-advocates, successfully transition into adult life, and be active leaders in their communities.
