NVTRP, provides equine-assisted activities for children and adults with disabilities, youth-at-risk, recovering military service personnel, and their families. Summer camps are available as well as on-going therapeutic lessons. Programs include therapeutic riding; physical and occupational therapy; equine-assisted learning; psychotherapy and counseling; community lessons and sessions for recovering military service personnel and youth-at-risk. NVTRP offers various summer riding camps that are designed to integrate children with and without disabilities through riding programs and many other equine-related activities. Participants learn tolerance, compassion, and respect for differences while improving their cognitive, physical and horsemanship skills.
