NVMS offers a co-parenting class that covers the challenges of parenting from separate homes, the challenges this poses for your child, how to be more involve in your child's life, how to improve communication between you and your child's other parents, the many ways to communicate with your child, and ways to prevent and resolve conflicts. Both parents are not required to attend, but may take the class together if they would like. This class is offered free of charge to parents with open Division of Child Support Enforcement cases by the Virginia Department of Social Services. Class includes snack and co-parenting manual, Two Parents, Two Homes, with additional parenting resources. A certificate of completion is also provided at the end of class.
