NewFound Families is the Virginia adoptive, foster, and kinship family association. NewFound Families serves all of Virginia's adoptive, foster, and kinship families by offering peer support and connecting families with the resources families need to be stable, nurtured, and healthy. NewFound Families has a weekly Facebook parent support chats; warm line peer support, resource and referral assistance; family support leadership training, family-based respite camps, couples retreats, sibling retreats, training opportunities; and a Gathering Place for parents in Ashland, VA. There is also free training and information available on a Webinar Archive on the website. The NewFound Families also has a members only online support group meets on Wednesdays at 9:00 PM.
