The National Federation of the Blind and the country's premier training centers for the blind offer a varitey of summer programs for blind and low-vision children and young adults that build blindness skills and encourage independence. Programs are offered throughout the United States and have a variety of focus areas including learning nonvisual skills, engineering, college prep, recreation, self-advocacy, pre-employment, and work readiness skills
