Description:
NAMI Virginia serves to promote recovery and improve the quality of life of Virginians with serious mental illness through support, education, and advocacy. NAMI Virginia provides technical support to local affiliates, operate a HelpLine, organize annual events to bring together advocates (Family and Youth Summit), members, and other stakeholders for educational opportunities, training, capacity-building, networking, and sharing strength and energy. Programs include education and support for parents through the Virginia Family Network and youth and young adults through Youth MOVE Virginia.
