NAMI Northern Virginia is an association of volunteers who provide peer support and education to people with mental illnesses and their families. NAMI-Northern Virginia advocates to the community, and public officials, to ensure that people with mental illnesses are afforded the opportunity to live, work, learn and participate fully in their communities. NAMI-Northern Virginia offers many free trainings, peer and parent education classes, and support groups in the Northern Virginia area.
