The Early Intervention Program of Loudoun provides specialized services for families and children birth through thirty-six months of age. The program serves infants and toddlers who have a suspected delay, a diagnosis that could lead to delays, or atypical development. Children with vision and hearing impairments can also be served in this program. Each child referred for early intervention services receives a developmental screening and / or assessment to determine eligibility for the program. If a child is eligible, an Individualized Family Service Plan is developed to address the family's concerns, priorities, and resources.
