The mission of Foster Care Alumni of America(FCAA) is to connect the alumni community and to transform policy and practice, ensuring opportunity for people in and from foster care. The Foster Care Alumni of America host alumni reunions, annual foster walks, provides speakers, offers training on how to strategically share lived experience, sponsor a radio show project called Foster Stories, and a community art project called the culture of foster care. Additionally the website provides links to resources and information on advocacy. FCAA has a scholarship program for foster care alumni age 25 and over to help fill a gap in educational opportunities for older alumni.
