EVOLVE Family Counseling and Sports Psychotherapy offers professional service in a compassionate and empathetic manner. Owner and Director Dave Edwards has been working with children and adolescents for 35 years and has been providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, and families in the Northern Virginia region since 2015. Staff are all either counselors in Residency, or state licensed counselors, social workers, or psychologists. Each individual therapist brings their own specialties and approach to their work and clients are matched to the most suitable therapist. As a practice, approaches are tailored to individual needs using client centered approaches which affords a level of autonomy to the client. Where applicable, a Family Systems approach where therapists can help to improve family dynamics, home life and the overall familial support system is used.
