The Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia promotes awareness about epilepsy and advocates for, and provides assistance to, people with epilepsy. Information is available on employment rights, affordable assisted living facilities or independent housing, sources of reduced-cost or no-cost medication, physician referrals, special education, transportation, and health insurance. The website has links to online booklets, newsletters, other resources, and videos. There is a support group at 7pm the second Tuesday of every month in Falls Church at the Inova Conference Center.
