Description:
DCBHS has a team team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners, and therapists who offer a wide range of assessment and treatment services, including counseling and therapy (individual, family, marriage, and group), testing (psychological and neuropsychological), medication management, play therapy, and parent coaching. DCBHS provides psychological and neuropsychological testing to measure overall intellectual functioning and academic achievement, attention, concentration, working memory, distractibility, short-term and long-term memory, ability to learn new skills, logical and abstract reasoning functions, capability to solve problems, ability to understand and express language efficiently, visual-spatial organization, fine and gross motor functioning, and psychological functioning and its impact on cognitive functions. Appointments can usually be scheduled within-2 weeks to start the Neuropsychological Testing process.
