Child & Family Healing Center in Richmond provides 24-hour intensive residential treatment for youth ages 11-18 in an unlocked 33 acre campus environment. While at CFHC, youth attend the Charterhouse School on campus. The CFHC Child & Family Healing Center empowers kids by addressing clinical needs and building social competency through family-focused and youth guided treatment plans. Areas of expertise include Trauma and attachment (including but not limited to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Reactive Attachment Disorder); Problem sexual behaviors; and Autism and other neurological differences (e.g., mild traumatic brain injury). The CFHC is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and are Medicaid approved.
