The Barker Foundation is a nonprofit adoption agency licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Barker provides lifelong services for all in the adoption constellation and advocates for ethical, respectful, and child-centered adoption practices. Barker offers pregnancy counseling, domestic and international adoption services, and post adoption support. Post adoption services include individual counseling, facilitated support and discussion groups, search and reunion services for birth parents and adoptees, homeland tours to Columbia and Korea, and educational programming and community outreach to build understanding about adoption-related issues.
