Children's Behavioral Health promotes the emotional and psychological well-being of Arlington County youth and families. Services are provided to children, teens and their families to prevent mental health and substance abuse problems from developing or becoming more serious, and assist children and teenagers in overcoming problem thoughts, feelings and behaviors that interfere with daily life, and help to develop skills for healthy living. Some of the services provided are screening, assessment, and outpatient treatment; case-management services; intensive care coordination; and court liaison services.
