The mission of FASD Communities is to create sustainable living communities across the United States for young adults with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Aloha Community Platteville is the first of FASD communities and is located in Wisconsin. Aloha Community Platteville is a five-bedroom home that sits on four acres. Each resident has a bedroom and access to communal spaces. Aloha community Platteville provides a structured, calm environment that combines the safety of 24-hout staff oversight for adults living with FASD. The program provides the tools needed to achieve self-reliance including duties such as preparing dinner or tending to farm animals. If a resident is interested in taking a class at one of the area technical or community colleges, that can be arranged.
