Therapeutic Recreation offers programs for youth and teens, adults, and summer camps. Youth and teens have a mainstream program (ages 6-17), Kids Day Out (ages 6-17), and FUNtastic Spring Break Camp (ages 5-12). Adult programs (ages 18 & up) include an adult social club and art works. Summer camps include a teenie weenie toddler camp (ages 3-5) and TR Summer Camp (ages 6-17). Programs focus on developing social skills within the context of structured enrichment activities like swimming, arts and crafts, and cooperative games. School aged youth and teens are required to have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan. All programs require an initial assessment and eligibility approval by Therapeutic Recreation staff prior to participation in programs.
