Best Buddies International is seeking a new leader of their Capital Region office.
The job description can be found here.
Based in Falls Church, Best Buddies Capital Region supports over 4,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through meaningful peer friendships, leadership skills, secure employment, and inclusive living opportunities.
The next State Director (BBI’s equivalent of an executive director) oversees a team of 8 and a budget of $1M+. Successful candidates will be superb networkers and with some fundraising experience. When I asked the team to share a few words about the workplace, they told me “fun; happy; and we get to see joy every day.”
This is a great role for a seasoned leader or an first-time E.D.
Salary is budgeted $100k-$110k. Good benefits.
