Crisis Resources for No Va Families
For those raising children and youth who experience critical mental health or behavioral issues during this challenging time, here are some options for crisis response in Northern Va:
- Your local community services/CSB is a good place to start (find list at http://23.29.59.143/community-services-boards-csbs ). Check yours for revised hours.

- Another option for children and youth in crisis- Children’s Regional Crisis Response (CR2), a state- and regionally-funded program.
CR2 Provides 24- Hour rapid response to all youth (17 & younger) facing a mental health and/or substance use crisis. Their highly trained and compassionate counselors provide phone screening and face-to-face assessment, intervention, and support so that your child and family may continue with life as planned.

- Another option for crisis supports- VA REACH – Northern Region. The VA REACH program offers crisis prevention and response services, along with training for those who support individuals with developmental disabilities.
