Bridge to the Future Youth and Young Adult Workshop

Calling all youth and young adults 14-24 years of age! Formed Families Forward (FFF) and the A Life Like Yours (ALLY) Center at The Arc of Loudoun are hosting a FREE one-day Bridge to the Future Workshop for youth and young adults who have disabilities or other specialized needs.

When: Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 3 PM

Where: Paxton Campus, 601 Catoctin Circle NE, Leesburg, VA 20176

Through fun and engaging activities, the youth and young adult workshop participants will:

• Interact and connect with other youth and young adults their age through art, music, and movement activities.
• Identify their strengths and interests and complete a needs assessment to assist in developing at least one short and one long-term goal and draft a plan of action.
• Explore career training and post-high school education opportunities that match their goals and interests.
• Practice self-advocacy and strengthen social and job-readiness skills to improve confidence and fluency to gain the position they seek.

A box lunch will be provided. All youth participants who complete the full-day workshop will receive an Amazon gift card.
