The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption finds homes for children who are waiting to be adopted from foster care in North America. The Foundation provides free educational resources, promote awareness, assist policymakers and employers, and support adoption professionals and agencies throughout the United States and Canada. The foundation supports Wendy's Wonderful Kids which provides funding to adoption agencies to hire recruiters who implement an evidence-based, child-focused recruitment model. They also sponsor A Home for the Holidays which is an annual primetime television special that shares stories of foster care adoption and has featured performances from some of America's most popular music artists.
