The GMU Center for Psychological Services provides evidence-based assessment and treatment services to people of all ages across the Northern Virginia and greater Capital region. Services are primarily provided by graduate students under the supervision of qualified, licensed professionals. All supervising faculty are affiliated with GMU, practicing, teaching, and/or conducting nationally funded research. Services offered include outpatient therapy, diagnostic testing & assessment, and consultation. The center also runs an adolescent social skills training group for adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and the Stepped Mental Health Care Program, a 3 step program for obtaining evidenced-based mental health care. Sliding scale fee applications are accepted for Individual Therapy and Comprehensive Psycho-educational Assessment Services.
