Description:
KEEN brings together volunteers from the community and young people with significant developmental and physical disabilities. It runs 25 free-of-charge sports programs in northern Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Offerings in Northern Virginia include gym sports, music, bowling (ages 16-21), Zumba for young adults (ages 16-25), and family sports days. Keen Sports programs (gym sports) are broken down into three age groups: kids (ages 5-12), teens (ages 13-19), and young adults (ages 20-25). Family Sports Days are open gym sessions that last 2 hours.
