Beacon Tree's Mission is to be advocate for families who have children up to age 21 struggling with mental illness by focusing on education, access to care and funding. The foundation provides funding to help families with the financial challenges of supporting a child with mental health issues. It accomplishes this through an annual scholarship, a grant program to help families pay for residential treatment programs, and funding for initial psychological evaluations for youth and their families. Beacon Tree also provides access to important information, resources and advocacy.
