* Holiday Family Night

Families and colleagues are invited to join us for our Formed Families Forward Holiday Family Night event. Fun and connection for the whole family.

Children and parents/caregivers are invited to join Formed Families Forward Board and staff for some food, fun and fellowship. A light dinner will be served to whole family at 6 PM and then children and youth are invited to enjoy holiday videos and art and crafts activities in the room next door.

Parents and caregivers will have their own “downtime”, complete with holiday treats and conversation with other families. The event will feature a short presentation on easy strategies to manage holiday stress by Ms. Sally Masri, Mindfulness Instructor. Come and discover how you can find joy and gratitude in the moment, making memories for a lifetime.

Following her presentation to parents and caregivers, Ms. Masri will guide interested children and youth in a special activity just for them. The children will make a ‘mindful jar’ to take home to remind them to work on their breathing and relaxation.
