CHADD Lecture: Why is my Kid Still at Home?

January 15 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Hosted by Northern Va and DC CHADD, part of the 2020 “Understanding ADHD” Lecture Series.

Do you have a young adult living with you who has been struggling to make the transition to independence? Are you worried about your high school student having the skills to effectively transition into college, technical school, and career?

Many young adults with ADHD struggle with managing their time, becoming financially independent, and choosing a career path. They are often unable to launch to independence, becoming highly dependent on their parents, and seem incapable of leaving home.

We can help you begin to change these dynamics. This presentation provides examples and enacted sequences of behaviors and mindsets that have proven successful in providing a path to full independence.

Join speakers Herve LeBoeuf, PhD, and Cheryl Gedzelman, President of Tutoring for Success, as they provide examples and enacted sequence of behaviors and mindsets that have proven successful in providing a path to full independence for struggling young adults.
