Are You Really Ready? An Emergency Preparedness Workshop for Individuals with Disabilities and their Families

Offered by The Arc of Northern Virginia, this Emergency Preparedness Workshop is designed to connect individuals in the community who might have a disability or access and functional needs, as well as their families, to the agencies who play a role before, during and after an emergency. Join several Fairfax County agencies and partners to learn about different programs, what information is important to share during an emergency and how to be prepared for the unexpected.

Representatives from each agency will participate in a panel discussion about what programs and services are offered by their agency. In addition, each agency will have a display table that families can visit and ask more individualized questions.
