In this last of our 4 part Eligibility and Evaluation webinar series, participants will be able to identify some characteristics of military families that are formed through foster care, adoption and kinship care; describe two ways to get started on the evaluation path; explore challenges specific to military families receiving special education services; and identify military programs that can provide support and guidance.
Our presenter is Nina Manganaris, LCSW, Deputy Director, Formed Families Forward. Nina has worked with adoptive, foster and kinship families over the years providing support, information, and guidance as they work to help their children be successful. She has additional expertise in trauma, parenting education and grief. Nina is passionate about working with families and children and believes in a strength-based approach.
