Description:
The Virginia Board for People with Disabilities (VBPD) advocates for better services and supports. They make sure that people with developmental disabilities (DD) and their families have what they need to live their best lives. While people with other types of disabilities may take part in and benefit from VBPD activities, our primary focus is on supporting people with developmental disabilities.
VBPD is a DD Council, authorized by the federal DD Act.
VBPD offers policy advocacy, trainings, grants and other resources to individuals and families, statewide.
