Their program continuum offers secure residential treatment which provides intensive programming within a secure, campus style setting.
For patients not requiring an inpatient level of care, Liberty Point Behavioral Health Care provides a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) as an outpatient service for children and adolescents, ages 11 to 17, through Branches Staunton. Branches Staunton Day Treatment typically addresses the developmental, emotional and psychiatric concerns of each patient through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focus. During the stay, your child may receive medication management, individual, group, activity and family therapy. The treatment team may include a psychiatrist, therapist, a nurse, mental health technician(s) and other allied therapy professionals. The treatment day starts promptly at 8 am and ends at 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Treatment is different for every child. The average length of stay will vary from three to six weeks.
