The mission of GIRL is to mentor and empower teen girls for future success in STEM careers through promotions academic excellence, leadership skills, community service, career preparation, and self-esteem. Through its workshops and activities, GIRL provides educational and social enrichment opportunities and positive role models so girls can feel confident in themselves and supported in achieving their dreams. Programs include Saturday Girls (grades 6-12), STEAM Spring Break Camp (middle school), F.O.C.U.S. (Females of Color Underrepresented in STEM) Summer Camp, Annual career conference, Pathways to Careers Program, and worksite field trips.
